![]() I think the options you mention are great to, it leaves some control to the player themselves. It would add a whole new end game with all the (future) possibilities going with it. True, however I like to emphasise that this would not be for one time if the campaign mode can be selected in end game (scaled enemies to your char level) so bosses could be farmed for example. ![]() I assume the new meta items levels + stats, skills etc are know to the devs so why not go the extra mile to reassure playerbase that there time enjoyed is rewarded instead of being diminished? ![]() Agreed, however altered is not the same as to be reset to level 40 where the points you mentioned need to be rerolled anyway be it level 40 or current level. Or maybe an option on old characters to choose to reset it to level 40. I would probably have chosen to apply the minimal conversion to players and forced them to create a new character to discover the chapter 4. players doing the chapter 4 with old, overpowered characters will happen only once (so making a complex mechanism to allow any characters to do the campaign would be a lot of work for little benefit) characters have to be altered anyway to fit within the rebalance of the game (items, skills, xp curve, etc) Originally posted by MellowMelee:To me this is not done and I can't keep myself from wondering if there isn't a better option to achieve the same result, like > the new chapter could be scalable to your character level for instance and the campaign mode should be selectable in end game. The reset is definitely not a great option as it throws away a lot of work done by players.
